Descripción : We from the Davert Mühle have chosen for you the best oils that are all from the first pressings. The pumpkinseed and the walnut oils are roasted first and then pressed that‘s what gives them their nutty taste. The pressing of the oil is done without any heat being added from outside and the oil that is being pressed out does not go over a temperature of 40°c that way the contents in the oils are not being lost and we are able to maintain the authentic aromas of the oils. The best quality is gained in the first pressing With the example of our olive oil, we would like to show you how the best quality can be obtained. Once the fruits have been harvested they are washed and within two days they are ground in a stone mill and from the ground olive the oil is won in one pressing, a process that has been carried out for thousands of years. With this type of pressing on extra heat is added this is what is known as a cold pressing. All depending on the soil, climate, area and how far the fruit has ripend reflects on if the oil tastes earthy, fruity, spicy, mild, sharp or fine. Just like wine, the taste of olive oil differs in so many ways like on other oils.
